Got an email yesterday from Nathan Huang at the NY Times OP-Ed page for a quick letters illustration. This weekend is memorial day, and the topic of Veteran’s health benefits and access to care is the subject of the illustration.
These are always fun to do, three hours for sketches and then another two hours to do the final. Your brain pushes out solutions and it’s your job to sift through all the noise for something that is achievable and simple.
The Black and White is in the printed paper and color is on line. I love acid green! Final printed size is about 3” so for all you newspaper readers out there keep your eyes peeled in today’s NY Times.
Cheers and thanks to huanglorious for the call.
